Community Benefits
The new neighborhood is designed to be open and easily accessible to the broader community with a focus on safety and security of both the built and natural environments.
Improvements to the site include brand new retails center, sophisticate frontage and neighborhood gathering places throughout, as well as a community hub with bike and car parking at the entrance and covered parking area along DeAnza Boulevard , available to all Cupertino's.
To increase accessibility and safety, future path is planned to connect with neighbor property as well the circulation of community traffic and ease of access to the retail along DeAnza Boulevard.
Pedestrian and Bike access to the site are both highly encouraged on site and off site at DeAnza Boulevard
The project directly supports many elements of the City of Cupertino Climate Action Plan through its sustainable design approach. This includes green building technology and materials, as well as low-impact construction practices. Traffic, noise and duration of construction will be minimized through use of innovative building techniques.
At least 65% of the Construction Waste will be recycled.
